Applications:2-Chlorobenzhydrol is used as a reagent in the synthesis of bifonazole analogs which have antibacterial and antifungal activities. 2-Chlorobenzhydrol is also a reagent in the preparation of cinnamyl piperazine derivatives which have anticonvulsant activity.
