Applications:Hemin-d6 is deuterium labeled hermin, which belongs to a group of heterocyclic organic compound called porphyrins. Hemin binds Fe and is a heme oxygenase 1 inducer. Heme oxygenase 1 is a heat shock protein that protects against oxidant-induced tissue injury.
