Applications:Cyclopentylamine is a useful synthetic intermediate. It was used to prepare chiral N-aminoacyl pyrrolidines and (adamantylamino)acetamides as selective and orally bioavailable dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitors with antihyperglycemic properties. It is also a reagent used to prepare dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitors as potent anti-diabetic agents.
