Applications:2-(1-Adamantyl)-4,5-dihydro-1h-imidazole can be used as a preparation of new compounds with activity that protects against the action of toxins and viruses in intracellular action mode. It is also used in the synthetic preparation of imidazolines via oxidative cyclocondensation of aldehydes/alcohols with ethylenediamines using iodine.
