Applications:Acetylenedicarboxylic Acid is used as an electrolyte in the fabrication of anodic nanoporous alumina. It is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of several organic compounds including that of derivatives of metronodazole (antibiotic and antiprotozoal medication) which display increased antimicrobial and antiparasitic properties.
