Applications:Alternariol 9-Gentiobioside is a derivative of Alternariol (A575760) which is an alternaria mycotoxin and genotoxin, found in common edible crops. Alternariol inhibits the activity of various DNA-topoisomerases, increasing the rate of DNA strand breaks. Alternariol 3- Sulfate Ammonium Salt is currently suspected of being formed during metabolism in contaminated plants.
