Applications:5-Amino-1-naphthol is a reagent in the preparation of 5-hydroxy duloxetine. It is also used in the preparation of tetrahydronaphthol-, naphthol-, sulfonamide-, phenyl-, and heterocyclic-TRPV1 antagonists.
