Applications:4-tert-Amylphenol, is an antimicrobial pesticide. It has also been shown that para-substituted phenols and their 2-dimethylaminomethyl and 2-phenylthiomethyl derivs. posses antioxidative activity, and is used in lubricating oils, fuels, fats, and polymers.This compound is a contaminant of emerging concern (CECs).
