Applications:Anhydrotetracycline is a tetracycline derivative exhibiting no antibiotic activity, a useful effector of tetracycline-dependent gene expression in bacterial expression systems. It is a powerful effector in both the tetracycline repressor (TetR) and reverse TetR systems, binding the Tet(R).
