Applications:ASPT is an (aminostyryl)pyridinium hemicyanine dye that has solvent-dependent one- and two-photon emissions. ASPT has been utilized in the synthesis of fluorescent poly(ε-aprolactone), where the alcohol group serves as the initiator of the reaction.
