Applications:An inhibitor of 12-lipoxygenase, leukotriene biosynthesis and release of lysosomal enzymes. It also inhibits cellular Ca2+ uptake and mobilization and adjuvant-induced arthritis. Baicalein is the flavonoid component of Nepalese and Sino-Japanese crude drugs.
