Applications:2-Benzamido-1,4-naphthoquinone belongs to a novel class of small molecule inhibitors of histone deacetylase (HDAC6), a family of enzymes that play significant role in numerous biological processes and diseases. 2-Benzamido-1,4-naphthoquinone was also shown to be an activation blocker of nuclear factor-kB (NF-kB).
