Applications:4-Chlorobenzenethiol is a reagent used in the synthesis of small-molecule inhibitors of the protein geranylgeranyltransferase Type I (GGTase-I), acting as anti-tumor agents. Also is used in the synthesis of b-sulfanyl carbonyl compounds via Michael addition.
