Applications:2-Chloro-5-hydrazinyl-phenol Hydrochloride was identified to inhibit the E. coli SC and SC-mediated DNA replication in vitro. 2-Chloro-5-hydrazinyl-phenol Hydrochloride is the derivative of 5-Amino-2-chlorophenol (A603890) which is used in the synthesis of antimalarial quinolones. Also, used in the synthesis of potent anti-HIV agent based upon pyrimidinylphenylamine 1.
