Applications:(1R,S)-1,4-Anhydro-1-C-[4-chloro-3-[(4-ethoxyphenyl)methyl]phenyl]-D-glucitol is the racemic mixture of (1R)-1,4-Anhydro-1-C-[4-chloro-3-[(4-ethoxyphenyl)methyl]phenyl]-D-glucitol (A637835) and (1S)-1,4-Anhydro-1-C-[4-chloro-3-[(4-ethoxyphenyl)methyl]phenyl]-D-glucitol (A637840). It is an impurity of Dapagliflozin (D185370) which is a sodium-glucose transporter 2 inhibitor and used to treat type 2 diabetes.
