Applications:Afobazol Hydrochloride is an anxiolytic drug. In the study involving healthy volunteers it was established that Afobazol Hydrochloride optimizes psychological condition of a stress-prone individuals. In addition, no negative influence was observed on such characteristics as attention, speed of decision making, and psychomotor reaction. in opposite, another study found that in in vitro experiment Afobozol Hydrochloride modulated neuronal response to ischemia and acidosis. In particular, this medication was able to decrease concentration of intracellular Ca2+ through interaction with σ-​1-​receptor.
