Applications:Copper(II) Acetate, Anhydrous functions as a catalyst in organic synthesis. It is also used in organic copper enabled oxidative cross-coupling reactions, and in the coupling of two terminal alkynes to make 1, 3-diyne and others. It’s complexes, like the copper-piroxicam functions as a pain killer that interacts with histone/chromatic causing structural alterations accompanied by modulation at epigenomic/genomic level through it’s DNA binding activity. It forms a mixed-ligand copper(II) complex that inhibits growth, induces apoptosis by DNA targeting in human epithelial cervical cancer cells.
