Applications:(3S,5S)-Atorvastatin Sodium Salt (Atorvastatin EP Impurity E) is a selective, competitive HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. The only drug in its class specfically indicated for lowering both elevated LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides in patients with hypercholesterolemia.
