Applications:4-Amino-3-(4-fluorophenyl)butanoic Acid Hydrochloride is a derivative of GABA (A602920), an important inhibitory neurotransmitter. Foods containing GABA show autonomic nerve suppressing activity related to blood pressure increase. Reacts with isothiocyanates to produce thioureas which have antifungal activity.
