Applications:5-Amino-1-pentanol is an aliphatic amino alcohol with potential plasma lipid-lowering properties. 5-Amino-1-pentanol and other amino alcohols are used as emulsifying agents in dry-cleaning soaps, wax removers, cosmetics, paints and insecticides.
