Applications:cis-1-Chloro-1,5-hexadiene is the derivative of Allyl Chloride (A549715), which is a chlorinated hydrocarbon that is considered to be a hazardous air pollutant because of its potential human health effects. Allyl chloride is also a known mutagen towards Salmonella typhimurium, and induces gene conversion in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
