Applications:α-Alaskene is a sesquiterpenes and may exhibit anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. α-Alaskene can be isolated from Chamaecyparis nootkatensis leaf oil, liverworts (B. barbata, B. floerkei, B. lycopodioides, and B. attenuata), and citrus fruits.
