Applications:2′-Deoxy-N-(4-hydroxybutyl)-guanosine is used in the study of DNA adduct formation by exposure to α-acetoxy-N-nitrosopyrrolidine (α-acetoxyNPYR). α-AcetoxyNPYR is a stable precursor to the major proximate carcinogen of NPYR.
