Applications:1-Chloroacenaphthene is a chlorinated derivative of acenaphthene, a polycyclic hydrocarbon that has potential to act as polyploidizing agents in plants. 1-Chloroacenaphthene is a polyaromatic hydrocarbon that is released into the atmosphere by means of incomplete combustion processes (e.g. diesel exhaust).
