Applications:5-Chloro-1-Indanone is used as a reagent in the synthesis of novel tricyclic pyrazoles as CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. Also used in he synthesis of heteroarylmethylidene cubstituted compounds as selective inhibitors of aldosterone synthase.
