Applications:5-​Chloro-​1-​pentanol is a reagent used in the synthesis of amidoalkylindoles as selective cannabinoid 2 receptor agonists which may be used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Also a compenent in the total synthesis of (R,​S)​S-​glucoraphanin.
