Applications:(+)-6-Aminopenicillanic Acid (Amoxicillin EP Impurity A) is the core structure in penicillins, obtained from the fermentation brew of the Penicillium mold. (+)-6-Aminopenicillanic Acid is used as the main starting block for the preparation of numerous semisynthetic penicillins.
