Applications:1-Chloro-2-(a-chlorophenylmethyl)benzene is used as a reagent in the synthesis of bifonazole analogs which have antibacterial and antifungal activities. It is also used in the preparation of diphenylpiperazine N-type calcium channel inhibitors.
