Applications:1-Acenaphthenol is a product of the microbial metabolism and photolysis of acenaphthene, of acenaphthene, a polycyclic hydrocarbon that has potential to act as polyploidizing agents in plants. 1-Acenaphthenol is also a known substrate of dihydrodiol dehydrogenases.
