Applications:O-Amino-glycerol is used to prepare bicyclo[3.1.0]hexanyl-oxazolidinones for therapeutic use as antibiotics. It is also used in the synthesis of heterocyclylcyclohexanecarbothioamides as smooth muscle relaxants.
