Applications:4-​Amino-​2-​methoxy-​5-​(methylsulfonyl)​benzoic Acid is an intermediate in the synthesis of S-Desethyl S-Methyl Amisulpride (D289595), a metabolite of Amisulpride (A633250) Amisulpride is a neuroleptic agent and an analog of Sulpiride (S689145). Amisulpride is used as an antipsychotic and is a dopamine receptor antagonist.
