Applications:(S)-2-Amino-3-(4-aminophenyl)propan-1-ol is derived from (2S)-2-Amino-3-(4-nitrophenyl)-1-propanol (A618365), which can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical compounds. It is used in the preparation of a new series of 2-substituted thiazole carboxamides as potent inhibitors of Akt kinases.
