Applications:D-erythro-Chloramphenicol is an isomer of chloramphenicol (CAP) which is an antibiotic that is banned for use in food producing animals. The D-isomer can be identified from the other CAP-isomers through reversed phase and chiral liquid chromatography in combination with tandem mass spectrometric detection.
