Applications:(2R)-2-[6-(4-Chlorophenoxy)hexyl]-oxiranecarboxylic Acid Sodium Salt is a carnitine palmatoyltransferase 1 inhibitor. It is also a chemo-sensitizing agent that is able to induce apoptosis in HL60 cells when used with glycolytic inhibitors such as 2-deoxy-D-glucose (D239000) and lonidamine (L469458).
