Applications:2-Aminobenzotrifluoride is used as a reagent to synthesize thiohydrazides that act as effective antibacterial remedies for chlamydia. 2-Aminobenzotrifluoride is also used as a reagent to synthesize substituted 2-benzothiazolamines which have anticonvulsant activity.
