Applications:Diaquabis(trifluoromethanesulfonate)bis[copper(N22)] Complex Bis(trifluoromethanesulfonate) is used in an enzyme model study on binding of 2-hydroxypyridine-N-oxide on dicopper(II) centers to gain insights into tyrosinase inhibition mechanism by transition-state analogs. This complex is also used in a study on melanoma cells to assess its reactivity, tyrosinase mimicking and nuclease activity.
