Applications:(+)-Echinatine is a pyrrolizidine alkaloid found in some medicinal herb preparations such as Asmachilca, which is a Peruvian preparation contributing to bronchodialtion and other protoxic effects. However these alkaloids are generally toxic in regards to human consumption.
