Applications:(R,R)-trans-1-Deshydroxy Rasagiline is a derivative of Rasagiline (mesylate form: R126000), an irreversible oxidase type B inhibitor that is used to treat patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Rasagiline has also demonstrated a unique capability to rescue dopamine neurons (of animals or cells afflicted with PD) from cell death.
