Applications:A cell permeable xanthine derivatvie that acts as a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase IV (PDE IV). Possesses bronchodilatory properties. Displays negative inotropic effect by acting on a verapamil-sensitive site of the calcium channel in guinea pig ventricle apaillary muscle independently of its PDE inhibitory activity.
